Project Thanks

In addition to the main funder of this project, The Australian Research Council (DP190101457), several other international bodies supported my research activities in Europe both in the early stages of the project and in heart of my writing of the major outcomes.

We are never alone in our accomplishment as scholars even in sole-authored work and will forever be grateful for the support, encouragement and enabling of these 3 research bodies in the UK and especially in Germany, without which my outcomes would never had reached the level of quality I have been able to target.

There are also a number of individuals to whom I am very grateful:

Antje Kuenast and Luccia Pozzi for their research assistance (and Antje for her work on this website). I have been very spoilt to have such excellent researchers in their own right helping me with the vast multilingual source corpus of this project

Russell Downham for listening to the endless ideas and thoughts about the project sprouting my head for the last 5 years

Paul Reeve for his multi-lingual careful proof-reading and editing of the manuscript of my monograph

Not all those who wander are lost.
